What ever happened to the Palace Theatre in New Haven? No one talks about, writes about, hears anything about it. Nothing. The theatre just sits there doing nothing boarded up. THIS is the last article I could find on the theatre. It is sad that such a beautiful theatre in downtown New Haven just sits there empty. I have so many memories of great shows at the Palace growing up. Anybody know anything about its future?

This is yet another Nyberg abandoned property in New Haven
It’s disappointing that he holds onto to so much prime downtown real-estate that’s simply being let to slowly rot, while the rest of the city is frantically reinventing itself.
Local pressure apparently caused him to relieve himself of the crown street buildings, which are apparently now being developed by someone else.
Perhaps something similar can happen here.
